The title, Tinfoil + Raccoon, came from a conversation I had with someone in library school who was trying to describe what ADHD was like. He was dead-on when he said, "It's like a raccoon that sees a piece of tinfoil." It's new! It's shiny! It's the most important thing in the world until the next new and shiny thing catches your eye or your imagination. So, if this blog seems a bit scattershot in the content presented, that's because it is. It is the project of an adult info-junkie-writer-librarian who has moderate ADHD and who delights in novelty.
This blog was born in 2004 and I have surprised myself by attending to it regularly.
