Elvish @ Your Library

That's Elvish, as in the langauge, not Elvis, as in, well...Elvis.

Dorethea at Caveat Lector talks about husband David's program on Elvish at the Bloomington Public Library this past weekend.  David Salo was a consultant on the Elvish language for The Lord of the Rings movies. I did not attend (something about coming in to work on a day off...), but everyone here was thrilled with the program, the Salos, the audience, and the great coverage in our local paper (stories will disappear by mid-May).  Dorothea estimated about 100 in attendance, but our official head count was 141!   A win-win for everyone!  Sorry I didn't have a chance to meet Dorothea and David, but it sounds like they had plenty of folks to make them feel welcome.  Here's a great FAQ on Elvish, if you missed the program.
