How's Your Spelling

Here's a spelling quiz of commonly misspelled words, from the UK Guardian.  Apparently, I'm not as much of a hotshot as I thought, having scored 18/23, which would get me a C+ in any classroom.  The response that came with my score, however, said that I must have paid attention in school and would do well on the spelling bee circuit.  Maybe I should send it to Juniorette's teacher.  There are lots of other fun quizzes at the Guardian to show you just how much you don't know (any Tintin or Jane Austen aficionados out there?).

You did better than me--by one question. I raced through the quiz though (my excuse). I wonder if any of these words are spelled differently on different sides of the Atlantic?

but you can tell math is my weak point-- that should read 19/23. sigh.
