Carnival Rained Out

Not sure why, but I only received two submissions for this week's Carnival of the Infosciences.  True to my word, I had planned on posting them, but both submitters have blogspot accounts.  And, as of this posting, blogspot appears to be down.   I'll try again tomorrow.  Better luck to Krafty Librarian, next week's ringmistress (who I can't link to because she's a blogspotter)!
