Ever since I registered for WiLSWorld, the Wisconsin Library Services conference, I've had the Wayne's World theme song in my head. Not sure about the partytime aspect, but I fully expect excellence. This will be my first Wisconsin library community event, and what better way to kick it off than a conference featuring Stephen Abram as keynoter and presentations by Superpatron Ed Vilmetti and Lorcan Dempsey. The theme for the conference is "Empowering Our Patrons." In addition to the abovementioned, there are lots of other juicy presentations scheduled. Deciding which to attend will be the tricky part. I'm also really looking forward to meeting folks from my new Wisconsin library family. If you want to say hi, just look for the woman playing air guitar and/or live blogging.
(Note: Thanks to liblogger Nichole for correcting me. I referred to WiLSWorld as a Wisconsin Library Association event, when in fact it is an event sponsored by Wisconsin Library Services, a statewide consortium.)

WilsWorld is Wunnerful. I spoke there once and had a terrific time. A terrific group of folks!
