You might find http://www.booksinmyphone.com interesting. They have books that are downloadable and readable on cell phones.

The books should run in any java phone. If you have internet connectivity on your phone then you can install a book with a few clicks.

Their reader tries to use the whole screen for text and 'pages' like a book rather than scrolling. It's really quite nice, I have 'caught up' on a lot of classics using my phone as a reader.

Now that's what I call a coincidence.

Thanks for sharing this!! Sometimes I feel this way too - my TV is bigger than yours - but not flat and not much bigger. If it wasn't for my husband I wouldn't know what to do with the DVD player or the cable box! When it comes to hardware I just want to bother. I don't know what my phone is capable of - and I still have a headset I plug in (no bluetooth).

In my case though - I do want the Kindle because of technolust - which is why I haven't shelled out the money. I'll stick to reading my books the old fashioned way and spending my technology learning time on software instead of hardware :)
